The fine print
Rules of the room
The rules of the season, no exceptions. Read them before you bid — every payment is final.
- 01
The board runs in monthly seasons
A season starts on the 1st and ends the moment the month does, UTC. When it closes the standings are frozen and written into the Hall of Fame permanently — that placement never expires.
- 02
20% of your total carries over
At reset every listing keeps a fifth of what it paid as its starting total for the new season. Click counts start again at zero, so the top of the board is winnable every month.
- 03
Rank is total paid
Positions are ordered by the total amount a listing has ever paid. There is no algorithm, no review, no editorial pick. Pay more, sit higher.
- 04
A new listing starts at $5
Whole US dollars only, from $5 up to $999,999 in a single payment.
- 05
Taking #1 costs $5 over the top
To sit at the top of the board your total must exceed the current #1 by at least $5.
- 06
Raising is cheap
Submit the same address again and you only pay the difference — minimum $1. That is what keeps a bidding war affordable, and dangerous.
- 07
Ties go to the earliest bid
Two listings on the same total? The one that got there first ranks higher.
- 08
Addresses are cleaned
Query parameters are stripped, so no affiliate or tracking links. App Store, Play Store, GitHub and Product Hunt links keep their path; everything else is keyed by domain.
- 09
What is allowed
Product websites and X handles. Not allowed: link shorteners, Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp invites, and adult content.
- 10
Bids are permanent
A bid buys placement for the running season plus a permanent Hall of Fame entry when it closes. Nothing is refunded and no traffic is guaranteed. We may remove listings that break the rules.
- 11
Boost is cosmetic, $29 for 7 days
A boost gives a listing a gold frame and a badge for seven days. It never moves the row: rank still follows the money. Buy it twice and the days stack.
- 12
Sponsored slots sit outside the ranking
$99 per month pins a listing above the board, clearly marked as an ad. Cancel whenever — the slot stays live until the paid period ends, then the listing drops back to its bid rank.
- 13
We email you when you lose a place
The address used at checkout gets a receipt, and a notice whenever another listing pays past yours. Nothing else, ever.
